why does history have a special place in tok?
if anything, it is special because of the skills used, i certainly spent a good time of my history classes learning how to analyse and evaluate sources and how to structure them into a proper conclusions
how and why is history rewritten?
it is rewritten because of new evidence new times new opinions new ideas new ways to look at the evidence
Can we say anything for sure in history?
yes and no, yes in the sense that we can use whatever we have at the time to the best of our ability to make a specific analysis, but even this is fluctuant because of difference of opinion and the level at which people can defend their opinions. no because there is always uncertanty in history and there is little to no chance that our history of the world would be proven to be how it is said to be.
